The UK boroughs have committed to reduce their energy consumption to meet the government targets for CO2 reduction, and according to Carbon Trust more heat is lost through glazing than walls or roofing. Because GP Systems are the UK leaders in energy consumption reduction for window film, we have been contracted to assist boroughs across the country save energy. For this particular borough in Liverpool, we identified the GP High Performance Insulating Film as the most suitable solution. This insulating film, which achieves near double glazing insulating performance when installed on single glazing windows, delivers energy savings throughout the year by reducing the reliance on air conditioning during the summer and the reliance on electric/gas heating during the winter.
